The combined efforts of our highly qualified and dedicated staff and our supportive community are producing results and fulfilling our mission to enable each of our students to be successful in an ever changing world.
Jim Hartley, Superintendent
The Madison School Board and the MEA have approved changes to the 2013-14 school year calendar. The unusually cold and snowy winter forced the cancellation of classes seven times for Madison students. The current Master Agreement between the Madison School Board and the Madison staff requires three make up days, providing there are no additional “Act of God” days before the end of the school year.
The new schedule calls for students to now be in attendance for a full day on four days originally scheduled as half days. These half days were originally scheduled for staff professional development and/or student exams. The revised calendar can be viewed by clicking here.
If you have questions about these revisions, please contact Mr. Hartley or Mr. Rowe.
Please note, that scheduled events may be changed, cancelled, or postponed.
