District Wide Announcements
Welcome to Madison School District

Welcome to the Madison School District where great things are happening every day!

In 2013 Madison earned the prestigious AdvancEd district wide accreditation recognizing our student achievement and rigorous academic standards, as well as our educational programming and processes.

The combined efforts of our highly qualified and dedicated staff and our supportive community are producing results and fulfilling our mission to enable each of our students to be successful in an ever changing world.

Significant recent achievements include Madison Middle School’s recognition as a National Title I Distinguished School (one of only two such schools in Michigan), Madison Elementary and Madison Middle schools being designated as Reward Schools by the Michigan Department of Education, Madison High School earning the U.S. News & World Report Bronze Award, and Bridge Magazine recognizing Madison as one of the top ten rural and small schools in Michigan, and 18th overall when compared to all Michigan schools.

Our website is designed to provide an overview/introduction to our school district, as well as school calendar information. You are welcome to contact any of our building administrators for additional information.

Sincerely,
Ryan Rowe, Superintendent

JANUARY IS SCHOOL BOARD APPRECIATION MONTH
Madison School District salutes Kyle Ehinger, President, Julie Ramos, Vice President, Nancy Roback, Secretary, Mark Swinehart, Treasurer, and Trustees Natasha Manchester, Dana Pink, and Ruben Villegas for their service to our Board.

Board members contribute many hours each year leading our District in board meetings, professional development, community activities, and extra curricular events. In the past year our school board members have made countless passionate pleas to legislators, speaking out against budget cuts and pushing for smart reforms.

The job of our school board members is tough, the hours long, and the thanks few and far between. Thank you so very much Madison School Board of Education for your devoted service!
Madison Board of Education members read thank you cards and letters provided by Madison students at their meeting Monday, January 19.

INDOOR ATHLETIC FACILITY RENOVATIONS COMPLETE
Renovations at Madison School District’s 11,000 square-foot Indoor Athletic Facility are now complete.  We are excited about this new training facility to be utilized by Trojan baseball, softball, football, golf, wrestling and competitive cheer teams. It is estimated that over 1200 students, from ages 8-18 will benefit from having access to this space.

We invite you to show your support for Trojan athletics by placing a personalized banner (click for image) in the multi-purpose training room or adding a plaque to our welcome board (click for image) located in the lobby.  More information is available in the letter and order form below.  Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.
